***** Actually the wiring harness on the W140 Diesel isn’t that much, a few
hundred dollars.
      I had mine replaced, it wasn’t that bad but it was easier since the
mechanics were under the hood anyway. My 140 has just about EVERYTHING new,
from the Engine (factory new) to the exhaust system and a bunch in between.
         I can milk 30 MPG, but more realistic is 29 MPG on the road and
between 22-25 in town. Plus the best and quietest ride in town :-)
